Imagine 2025!

The new year has recently started and we wish you all the best for 2019!

In our NEMoGrid project we are developing new energy business models not only for the next but also for the more distant future. And we are interested in your opinion on our models!
How do you prefer to consume and produce energy in the future? What do you expect or worry about?

We put an questionnaire online to survey pro- and consumer acceptance of recent and future energy business models in Europe. You are invited to fill in our questionnaire and forward it to other persons. The completition will take you 35min and as an incentive we draw 5 x 20€.

Present Publications

As a little Christmas present, we extended our Publications section and added first public project deliverables for download. We will keep this category up-to-date, thus detailed project results can be looked up.

Merry Christmas to all of you!

NEMoGrid presentation at Swedish Energy Agency

Together with the Swedish Blockchain association The NEMoGrid project held a lunch presentation in Eskilstuna at the Swedish Energy Agency offices. The interest for this new way of thinking in the energy systems is of very large interest for the agency and several projects are involved in different aspects of the transition.

Karin Widegren chair of ISGAN (International Smartgrid Action Network) started with her presentation talking about the challenges in a regulatory perspective which has also been presented to OECD earlier

Joachim Lindborg from the NEMoGrid project presented the scenarios and the challenges in a regulated environment to enable flexibility and to use blockchain based markets to let aggregators share the value of optimizing the local DSO grids. This is what the pilot in Sweden will test in the NEMoGrid projekt

Benjamin Dahl and  presented on the current state of blockchain tech and especially on how the energy industry is testing the technologies

Consortium meet and greet in Chemnitz

The Professorship of Cognitive and Engineering Psychology hosted the NEMoGrid consortium meeting this week. From Monday the 24th till the 26th of September the partners met at Wilhlem-Raabe street in Chemnitz and discussed the results and further steps of the project. We focussed on the results of the interviews with pro- and consumers and the architecture design with regard to the implementation at the test sites. Furthermore, we went through the feedback brief of the ERA-Net Smart Grids Plus Initiative on our first year report and incorporated the hints in our future work plan.
